The main worship room is our largest prayer/worship room. Designed to seat 200 people we use it for larger prayer/worship gatherings, such as whole days of prayer, prayer leaders weekends, Hungry We Come days, etc.
The room has been recently refurbished, with new carpet, fresh paint and an upgraded PA system. The PA system includes:
24 Channel Yamaha 24/14 FX mixing desk;
Behringer multi-effects processor unit;
Stereo Graphic Equaliser (for foldback monitors);
CD player for playback
Twin tape deck
USB Audio Interface for recording spoken messages directly onto computer. This updates the older method of recording on to cassette tape, which produces a lot more hiss and loss of quality when copied to other tapes;
The speakers have been suspended from the ceiling, thus creating more space for movement;
Likewise, the data projector has been suspended from the ceiling;
2 extra 160W foldback monitor speakers. In total, 3 separate monitor mixes can be used;
Additional microphones and music stands have been added.
We have in the last year introduced a laptop and data projector to prject worship songs and for using PowerPoint presentations. For worship we project songs using Easislides (http://www.easislides.com), which was produced by the Belfast Chinese Church. We have a small PA system which has plenty of capacity to handle acoustic instruments and full band set ups alike.
